This year's Eurovision entry of the "Land of Ice", brings to the "Land of Fire" a pretty warm story... It is an Icelandic power ballad that tells a beautiful love story based on events that occurred in 1661. Two people, Ragnheiður Brynjólfsdóttir and Daði Halldórsson, fell in love but met much resistance from Ragnheiður's father... The official preview video is based on folk elements. In Iceland, there are old stories about "Huldufólk" ("hidden people", meaning elves and fairies) living in mountains. Video is about them. A boy runs into little fairygirl, he follows her and she disappears... Years later, he goes back where they first met to find her... Entry's composer, writer and singer, Greta Salome, is a member of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, with which the song has been recorded.
